In my Pockets: Money clip with $100-$200, Amex & drivers licence. SOG Flash pocket knife, iPhone w/ earbuds, watch, Fenix 32PD-UE flashlight, car keys w/ Gerber Shard tool.
In my Backpack (always in office, car, or home): MacBook laptop, Petzl headlamp, boxcutter knife w/ replaceable blades, first aid kit, fire kit w/ magnesium starter, Kindle reader, a book or magazines to read if I’m stuck somewhere, and some food for a decent snack.
What do you carry in your pockets on a daily basis?
I carry a wallet, keys, phone and my Gerber folder.
My truck has flashlights, blankets & roadside emergency kit. Usually have extra jacket and hat as well.
Am currently working on 2 medium to large backpacks or bob’s, one for my wife and one for me to be carried in our respective vehicles. Am also going to beef up what I carry in my truck, as it would be our main bug out vehicle…lots of storage space and 4WD.
Since writing that I have definitely improved my EDC items. A small sling packs let’s me carry a good first aid kit, survival items, gloves, toque, waffle sweater, some food, knife, multi tool, flashlight etc.
I’m a bit of a gear guy – love looking at packs, survival gear, etc.
